<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the running load and the time base variance from being given to a tape to improve the capacity of the recording and reproducing operations, by using one guide post as a fixed post and a rotary post in accordance with the recording and reproducing state. CONSTITUTION:When a pinch roller 17 is set to the recording or constant tape speed, a tape 18 is driven by a supply reel 19 or a take-up reel 20. A turning arm 21 is turned around a fulcrum 22 and is energized counterclockwise by a spring 23 hooked on a shaft 21a of the arm 21 and is turned counterclockwise in the recording or the reproducing having the same speed as recording, when a plunger 24 is turned off, until the arm 21 is brought into contact with a stopper 25, and the arm 21 is brought into contact with a pawl 7 of a guide post 6 to stop the rotation of the post 6. In the reproducing having another tape speed, the plunger 24 is turned on to attract a rod 26 connected to the arm 21, and the arm 21 is separated from the pawl 7 against the spring 23, and the post 6 is freely rotatable.</p> |
