PURPOSE:To contrive stabilization of output and speed, by a method wherein a cross-section shape of an actuation chamber is formed in a conical trapezoid form, and a ratio between shifting quantity of a rake duct and a variation of hydraulic oil is made constant always within a range of variation of the flow rate. CONSTITUTION:An inside wall surface of backside of each of casings for impeller 2 and runner 4, that is, plane parts 7a and 7b of an actuation chamber 7 are formed so that they are slant against an input shaft 1 and an output shaft 5 respectively. In other wards, when the tip of a rake duct 6 is at an optional distance R1 and R2 from the output shaft 5, depths of hydraulic oil in the actuation chamber 7 are h1 and h2 respectively, and the actuation chamber 7 is formed so that an equation, such as h1/h2=R1/R2 is materialized among h1, h2, R1 and R2. Thus, relation between a location of the rake duct and a speed of output, that is output shaft speed characteristic is made linear. |
