PURPOSE:To manufacture a separator having less dimensional change due to swelling in an electrolyte by preventing the shrinkage in width during drying a grafted copolymer film. CONSTITUTION:In the figure, 1 shows a grafted copolymer film roll which is in a wet state with water or water soluble solvent, 2 a tank which contains water or water soluble solvent, 3 a starting roller which is controlled with a powder brake or a band brake so that the film is fed uniformly. 4 shows a guide roller, and an expander roller is also used so as to prevent occurrence of wrinkles. 5 shows a drum heater with which the supplied film is dried in contact with it, and when the film is passed, the ends of the film is fixed so as to prevent shrinkage in lateral direction. As a fixing means of the film, both ends of the film are fixed with a belt 6. 7 shows a movable roller for controlling pressure of the belt 6, which is pressed against the belt with a spring. |
