PURPOSE:To cope with a common control section without any change, even if the number of connected terminals or the combination is different in every system or is changed, by selecting the operation of the common control section through the use of an operation designating means. CONSTITUTION:A line corresponding section 2 is connected to a terminal 7, after being set to an output ''1'' of an operation designating means 4 when the terminal 7 requires a control character A and after being set to an output ''0'' when said terminal 7 requires a control character B. A common control section 1 selects the section 2 and transmits a selection signal 9. A line corresponding section 3 is connected to a common line/data line 10 and the section 1 can control the section 2. An AND circuit 5 outputs the output ''1'' or ''0'' of an operation designating means 4 to a signal line 8 during the transmission of the selection signal 9. The control section 1 transmits the character A or B depending on whether the signal line 8 is at ''1'' or ''0''. Thus, the operation of the control section 1 can be selected with the content of the operation designating means set in matching with the required character of the terminal 7. |
