PURPOSE:To variably set the shrinking factor of magnifying factor of reading picture, by arbitrarily and variably setting a sampling interval of reading data without being limited to a specific integer relation, through the use of a reader incorporating a primary dimensional image sensor. CONSTITUTION:A hand scanner 3 which reads two dimension data and is moved on an original toward orthogonal direction with the scanning direction of an image sensor 4, is provided. Reading data D0 outputted from the scanner 3 is sampled with a data processing circuit 6, based on a transfer pulse P1 generated from a pulse generator 4 at each transfer of the scanner 3 for a prescribed distance. Further, the reader is provided with a period detecting circuit 8 generating an analog signal of analog quantity V1 corresponding to the period of the transfer pulse P1, a speed detection circuit 9 calculating an analog quantity V2 corresonding to the transfer speed of an image sensor 4, an integration circuit 10 integrating the analog quantity V2, an analog adjusting circuit 11, and a variable frequency oscillation circuit 12 generating a pulse every time an analog quantity V3 exceeds a multiple of an analog quantity K3E. |
