METHOD FOR MAKING PHYSICAL QUANTITY AUDIBLE

PURPOSE:To make it unnecessary to see a measured value with eyes, by expressing the magnitude of a measured physical quantity with the loudness of audible sounds. CONSTITUTION:The output of a pressure measuring sensor 1 is converted into a level signal proportional to the pressure of a fluid by a level detecting circuit 2. The output of an oscillator 3 which oscillates an electric waveform corresponding to a reference audible sound is inputted together with the output of the level detecting circuit 2 to a multiplier 4. The waveform obtained in the multiplier 4 is amplified in an amplifier 5 and is reproduced by a speaker 6. The loudness of sounds reproduced by the speaker 6 is changed in proportion to the level of the physical quantity.
