<p>On a Jacquard loom, a double-lift lifting mechanism has a true crossing of the knives and a reverse press, and means provided for the knives to grip the catches of the hooks. On an open pick, the lower catch may rest on the blade. A perfect grip of the hooks is achieved on a lifting mechanism with knives truly crossing and a reverse press, where the hooks have opposed catches.</p> |
