Method of correcting the colour of ceramic dentures and liquid for suspending colour powder to give a paint

In a method of correcting the colour of ceramic dentures the previously conventional roughening of the denture is omitted and the paint comprising the usual colour powder and a quick-drying varnish as carrier liquid is directly applied to the glazing of the fired denture and after-fired. An especially suitable starting material for the varnish is clear nail varnish with nail varnish thinner which are stirred in a mixing ratio of two to one. The colour test is possible immediately after correction of the colour, so that optimum matching with existing teeth is guaranteed.
