The invention relates to a slide bearing which is intended for building construction and exhibits a plastic sheet, on the upper side of which a layer of a lubricant is applied. The object of the invention is to provide a slide bearing of the abovementioned type which is easy to produce and to apply and is capable of reliably allowing for the changes in length at any point of a supported structural part. According to the invention, this is achieved in that the lubricant layer (1) serves as a directly carrying and friction-reducing layer of the supported structural part (6). The layer consists of a silicone grease with a high resistance to oxidation. The layer (1) is applied in uniformly distributed thin layers. The lubricant for forming the layer (1) is applied in a quantity of 20-100 g/m<2> of sheet (3). The layer (1) is covered with a comparatively thin protective sheet (2) consisting of plastic. <IMAGE>
