PURPOSE:To dispose of waste gas at a low combustion temperature by mixing the waste gas with additive air sufficiently and evenly, by a method wherein the waste gas led into a furnace is mixed and preheated while it is passing through the external circumference of an inner cylinder, which is additionally burnt by a burner and is sent to the internal circumference of the inner cylinder. CONSTITUTION:Waste gas 11 supplied from a waste gas intake 28 together with additional air 12 supplied from an additional air intake 29 are agitated sufficiently by a guide plate 27 within a space 26 formed between an outer cylinder 21 and an inner cylinder 22, which is preheated by the red-out inner cylinder 22, sent to a burner flame 25 part, then sent to the inside of the inner cylinder 22 by turning up as shown by an arrow mark 31 and additionally burnt by a flame 25. A part of remaining heat to be generated at the time of combustion is used for preheating exhaust gas 11 mixed with the additional air 12 passing through the space 26 through the inner cylinder 22. |
