PURPOSE:To imprint a photoelectric conversion element with a manufacture name, a name of article, its lot number and the like with ease and at great speed by preparing light transmitting plastics for sealing containing a photoabsorbent that absorbs only the light in a partial wavelength region and making it possible to imprint the light transmitting plastics with laser beams that are absorbed into the photoabsorbent. CONSTITUTION:Light transmitting plastics 3 containing a near-infrared ray absorbent are composed of a hemisphere part 3a as well as a column part 3b and an external outlet lead 2 is taken out of the bottom of the column part. In a structure of the light transmitting plastics 3 containing the near- infrared ray absorbent, it is preferable for its device to use a compound having a absorbing wavelength at 900-1100 nm as the nearinfrared ray absorbent. While epoxy resin, organic acid as well as their anhydride are used as the light transmitting plastics, a resin composite where the above compound are uniformly mixed is treated by a thermosetting process to compose the light transmitting plastics 3.
