In the air-conveying machine, the housing consists of two angle plates (1, 4), each having legs (2, 3 and 5, 6) arranged at right angles to one another. The angle plates have two unequally long legs (2, 5) which serve for wall fastening and which are so arranged facing one another that two equally long legs (3, 6) of the two angle plates (1, 4) cover one another at a parallel distance from one another, this distance corresponding to the difference in length of the unequally long legs (2, 5). A wall (7) clamped between the equally long legs (3, 6) of the two angle plates (1, 4) limits, together with the two legs (3, 6), a space (10) which receives the centrifugal impeller (9). The wall (7) is clamped as a result of the screwing of the two angle plates against one another by means of screws (8). A drive unit (20, 21) is flanged to one angle plate (1), and an inlet pipe bend (14) extends through the other angle plate (4) in front of the central suction orifice (18) of the impeller (9). The advantage of the housing is the very simple and inexpensive design. <IMAGE>
