PURPOSE:To prevent any crack generation in a funnel during the scattering of a getter, and prevent any noise from developing due to external mechanical shocks by making the thermal expansion coefficient of the part of a getter supporting member, which touches th inner wall of the funnel with spring force, almost the same as that of the funnel. CONSTITUTION:A getter case 9 containing a getter member is attached to one end of a getter supporting member 8, a spring member 8 is welded to the membwr 8, and the inner wall of a funnel 3 is provided with an internal conductive film 10. The member 8 touching the film 10 with spring force is prepared from a matter having an almost equal thermal expansion coefficient to the glass of the funnel 3, and is fixed to a part 10 of the inner wall of the funnel 3, from which the film 10 is removed, by means of a thermoplastic fusing agent 11. Here, the member 8 may be fixed with the agent 11 to the film 10 after the member 8 is coated with a member 13 having a low thermal conductivity, such as a ceramic member, by vapordeposition. As a result, the temperature rises of the case 9 and the member 8 become rarely transferred to the funnel 3 during the scattering of the getter member, any crack of the funnel 3 is prevented, and any noise generation is prevented. |
