PURPOSE:To protect a mold and enables to mold stably for a long period of time, by a method wherein pressure is detected for each shot and the mold- clamping pressure is set according to the pressure detected. CONSTITUTION:An output from an analog-to-digital converter 18 is latched as A and it is fed to a comparator X 21 as a data B. The data A changing momentarily are compared to the data B, and when A>B, a latch X 22 is set into an unlatching condition, while on the other hand, when A<=B, the data A are latched by the latch X 22. Namely, the maximum value is always latched. The maximum value is fed to an adder 26, and a fixed value is added to the maximum value by an allowable value setter 27. A numerical value E which is passed through the latch X 22 during when a low-speed advance is OFF and to which a fixed value is added by the adder 26 is transmitted to a latch Y 28, and the value E is latched by the latch Y 28 at the time of starting the low- speed advance. |
