<p>PURPOSE:To provide an ink compsn. suitable for use in the printing of a laminating polyolefin film, by using a binder obtd. by blending a chlorinated, partially hydrolyzed ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer with a chlorinated polypropylene. CONSTITUTION:An ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer having a vinyl acetate unit content of 5-40wt% is partially hydrolyzed to obtain a polymer (pref. one in which 30-95% of the vinyl acetate unit is converted into vinyl alcohol unit). Said polymer is then chlorinated to obtain a chlorinated resin having a chlorination degree of 3-75wt%. A mixture consisting of 80-50pts.wt. chlorinated resin and 20-50pts.wt. chlorinated polypropylene is used as a binder. A pigment is blended with said binder to obtain a printing ink compsn.</p> |
