PURPOSE:To improve the driving feeling during ascending hill by a method wherein a compressor is controlled by detecting the inclination of a car and the discrimination of the acclivity or declivity of slope. CONSTITUTION:A switch 3, which interlocks with the switch of a car air conditioner, is connected through resistances 3 and 4 to the positive side input terminal plus of a comparator 5 and through a detecting thermistor 6 for the temperature of an evaporator to the negative side input terminal of the comparator 5 respectively and as well as a magnetic clutch 14, which connects and disconnects a compressor (not shown), is connected to the output side of the comparator 5. When the inclination of the car is no less than alpha deg., the resistance value between a terminal 11o and the earth is reduced by means of a conductive pendulum 11b, of which the variable resistor 11a is composed together with resistors 11c. Accordingly, when the inclination of the car turns to be no less than alpha deg., the resistance of the sensor 11 is decreased and consequently the on-off level of the clutch 14 is raised, resulting in reducing the switching frequency of the compressor. |
