PURPOSE:To certainly engage a spring, which is annexed to a clutch provided to a rotating shaft to elevate a wick, with a clutch, irrespective of some assembling errors, in the title apparatus which is composed to elevate a wick against the tension of a spring by the rotation of a motor. CONSTITUTION:A rachet 13 is fixed to a rotating shaft 9 to elevate a wick, freely rotatably supported by a fuel tank 1 by the intermediary of a bearing 11, and a coil spring 14, equipped to the inside of a ratchet 13, is designed to accumulate its tension by the rotation of the shaft 9 at the ascending time of the wick. Further, a clutch cam 16, which is provided with a cylindrical part 15, is fitted to the external end of the rotating shaft 9, and a clutch-fitting sheet 18, in which external circumference a cam edge 19 is formed, is fitted to a cylindrical part 15. A clutch 20 is journaled at the eccentric position on the side of a fitting sheet 18. The primary and the secondary follower gears 25 and 27 are fitted to the cylindrical part 15, and a clutch 20 is engaged and disengaged by a clutch-operating member 28 which is formed monolithically in one side of the gear 27, cooperated with a spring 33 fixed to the member 28. |
