PURPOSE:To enable to effectively attain a hermetical seal of a superconductive rotor even in any state by forming a safety valve system having an emergency gas exhaust passage by disposing a metal safety valve and a nonmetallic safety valve in series with each other and disposing the metal safety valve at the side of a coolant tank. CONSTITUTION:A safety valve system 14a having an emergency gas discharge passage 12 communicating from a coolant tank provided in a torque tube with the exterior is formed by disposing a metal safety valve 17 and a nonmetallic safety valve 19 in series with each other. In this case, the valve 17 is arranged at the tank side P, and the valve 19 is arranged at the external atmosphere side Q. In this manner, the features of both the valves can be sufficiently performed. Since the metallic valve is disposed at the low temperature side, it can effectively remedy against any state. |
