The patient lies on a first base with second traction force absorption components with belts for encompassing the chest and back of the patient. A movable component (13) of low friction moves relatively to the base (10) with considerable friction against the two tractive force absorption components to which a traction device is attached. - One tractive force absorption component is connected to the traction device via a gear and a stop, whilst the other component is directly connected to it. When traction is applied, one of the absorption components is tensioned and the stop does not lock. It only locks when traction is applied to the other absorption unit. |
