AIR BAG CONTAINING SEAT OF VEHICLE

PURPOSE:To enable adjustment of a pressure applied on a seat without changing the eye level of a person on a car by disposing an air bag between an elastic wire and a retaining member at the lower side of a seat cushion frame. CONSTITUTION:Elastic wires 3 at the side of an opening 2 of a frame 1 of a seat are connected to the side faces of the frame 1 via retaining rods 4 and springs 5. A flexible plate 6 is disposed at the lower side of the elastic wires 3 and both ends thereof are connected to the retaining rods 4. Air bags 7 are arranged between the plate 6 and the elastic wires 3. The air bags 7 and an air supply and discharge member 9 are connected via pipes 8 and a quantity of air in each of the air bags 7 is regulated by the operation of a control lever 10. By the regulation of the quantity of air in each of the air bags 7, a spacing between the plate 6 and the elastic wires 3 is varied and an elastic force of the spring is adjusted, so that a pressure applied on a seat may be regulated.
