PURPOSE:To obtain duplicate images on a plurality of sheets simultaneously by a method wherein a heat-sensitive recording body is brought into close contact with the back side of a recording body for duplication, and the heat-sensitive recording body is developed concurrently when fusion-bonding a toner image by heating with radiant rays. CONSTITUTION:The toner image 5 is transferred from a drum made of a photo- electrically conductive photosensitive material such as selenium onto the recording body 1 for duplication, and it is fusion bonded to the recording body 1 by heating with rays 8 irradiated from a flash lamp 7 and rich in infrared rays. Simultaneously, a heat-sensitive recording layer 3 provided on a support of the heat-sensitive recording body 2 making close contact with the lower layer of the recording body 1 responds to the heat and produces a color in the same pattern as that of the toner image produced on the recording body 1, so that a color- produced part 6 is obtained as a heat-sensitive recorded image. |
