Wristwatch strap with lining - has outer layer edges secured to inside of lining at loops

The strap is of leather or similar material, its section comprising an outer layer and an inner lining glued or welded together. The lining is of rectangular cross-section, its sides being covered by parts of the outer layer which are bent over and glued or welded to it. At the loops a central layer of adhesive is provided, or the loops are secured by splitpins. At the loops and buckle ends (8), and pref. between the strap end and the bend forming the loop, edges (4) of the outer layer (7) extend over the sides of the lining (2) and are folded against the inside of the latter, to which they are glued or welded, pref. under pressure.
