NEW MATERIAL:An aniline derivative of formulaI(R<1> is H, lower alkoxycarbonyl; R<2> is lower alkoxy; A is lower alkylene; n is 1, 2) and its salt. EXAMPLE:o-Methoxycarbonyl-alpha-[4-(3, 4-dimethoxybenzoyl)-1-piperazinyl]acetoanilide. USE:Cardiac: it has activity of strengthening the contraction of cardiac muscles and increasing the amount of coronary blood flow without causing increase in pulse count. It is low-toxic. The dose is preferably 0.1-10mg/kg day based on the active ingredient. PREPARATION:For example, the reaction of an anilide derivative of formula II (X is halogen) with a piperazine derivative of formula III is carried out in an inert solvent, preferably by use of a basic compound as an acid acceptor at room temperature to 80 deg.C for 1-24hr to give the compound of formulaI. |
