发明名称 MEASURING SYSTEM FOR INITIAL SPEED OF CANNONBALL
摘要 PURPOSE:To measure the initial speed of a cannonball, by a method wherein a computation is made on a trajectory through formation of a false static target, and an observaation is done on a deviation from a false target, which is a theoretical value of a trajectory computation, by tracing a fixed cannonball. CONSTITUTION:The signal of a target position information input device 1 is inputted to a trajectory computer 2 to perfom a trajectory computation as if a static target, having a 0-speed and a 0-height, exists, and a direction, which a canon 4 directs, and an elevation are computed for firing to trace the cannonball by a tracing device 6. A position information of a false target from the target information input device 1 and the position information of the cannonball from the tracing device 6 are inputted to an initial speed counter 5 to fine a distance between a current ship and the false target at a 0-height or the cannonball, and the initial speed of the cannonball is computed from the difference to display it in a display 7. This permits the reliable measurement of an initial speed without the addition of a special additional device to a normal firing controller.
