PURPOSE:To efficiently distribute the voltage applied to cooling liquid pipe lines by a method wherein the cooling liquid pipes, which will be combindly used as insulator, are provided in the direction along the main circuit potential in a liquid cooling type SCR valve. CONSTITUTION:Three SSR modules 1 are connected in series in each stage, and the above is piled up in three stages with the neighboring stages connected in series. To be more precise, nine SCR modules are series-connected in between an anode terminal 6 and a cathode terminal 7 using a main circuit connecting conductor 8. An SCR stack 10 and its accessory part 11 are placed in the module 1. The entire structure of the three-staged SCR module is fixed on the frame, which is constituted of a combined upper frame and equalizing plate 4 at the upper part of an insulated strut 2, a combined lower frame and equalizing plate 3 at its lower part, and a side equalizing plate 5 on both sides. Then, cooling liquid pipe 9A and 9B are provided along the conductor 8. As a result, the maximum voltage applied to both ends of the cooling liquid pipe can be suppressed within the voltage existing between modules, the length of the pipe in proportion to the voltage can be used, and no high voltage is applied locally. |
