PURPOSE:To supply a wire stably over a long distance by disposing straight pipe-like wire feed pipes provided with guide rolls on both inlet and outlet sides between a wire reel and a wire feed mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A welding wire 2 drawn out from a wire reel 1 is introduced through the 1st guide roller unit 11 into a straight pipe-like wire feed pipe 14. Thence, it is introduced into a straight pipe-like wire feed pipe 15 through the 2nd guide roller unit 12. Further, it is conducted to a wire feed mechanism part 17 through the 3rd guide roller units 13 and a flexible conduit 16. The pipes 14, 15 are made straight in order to reduce the contact with the wire 2 and to prevent resistance by friction, is made larger in inside diameter than the conduit 16, and is provided with insulation characteristic so as not to cause electrical short circuiting despite the contact of its outside surface with other objects. Thereby, the wire 2 is supplied stably over a long distance with a feed motor 34 alone. |
