#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves applying an anti-corrosive material (3) at pasty state in a cavity (21) e.g. groove, by depositing putty in the cavity, where the cavity is delimited by a structural element (2) of a vehicle. A steel sheet panel (1) is positioned on the structural element or vice-versa so as to position a stop (11) in the cavity. The panel is connected with the structural element such that the stop is drowned in the anti-corrosive material, and the anti-corrosive material is hardened. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Method for assembling a steel sheet panel of a roof, body element or floor pan with a structural element e.g. raising body wall, glazed insert frame part or air diffuser duct part, of a vehicle (all claimed) e.g. commercial vehicle. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The utilization of the putty ensures satisfactory protection of the stop against corrosion with reduced number of operations that are carried out in a simple and rapid manner, thus improving the assembling quality and life duration of the connection, while increasing the productivity.
