PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic head device of simple structure for a magnetic tape with high coercive force by fitting a sendust head for recording and a ferrite head for reproduction to a head fitting body in one structure with a spacer between. CONSTITUTION:A head 4 for recording having a head part made of sendust and a head 8 for repdocution having a head part made of ferrite are made into one structure with a spacer 7 between, and then fitted to a head fitting body 11. For example, two pairs of said recording head 4 and reproducing head 8 in one structure are fitted at symmetric positions on the circumferential surface of a cylindrical head fitting body 11, thus manufacturing a magnetic head device for a VTR which uses a tape with high coercive force such as a metallic tape. |
