PURPOSE:To improve durability by installing end fittings of heat pipe to a heat source through a spring and applying an intervention of a pair of bellows which expands thermally between the end fittings and the heat source so as not to transmit more heat to a thermowax body than it is needed. CONSTITUTION:End fittings 2 of a heat pipe 1 is installed on a heat source 7 through a spring 5, and a pair of bellows 8 which expands thermally is intervened between the end fittings 2 and the heat source 7 by placing the pair of bellows 8 on both sides of a heat insulation plate 9. When an internal combustion engine is started and a temperature of a cylinder 7 comes to a fixed level, the end fittings 2 are pushed up against the spring 5 through expansion of the pair of bellows, and the end fittings are removed off from the heat source, thus heat transmission from the heat source 7 comes to a stop. With this, heat which is more than necessary is not transmitted. |
