The retractable anti-dazzle visor (1) for a vehicle comprises a flexible, transparent sheet (4) which passes through a slot (6) in a tubular housing (8) from a storage cylinder (5). The sheet carries a tab (3) at its lower end containing a hole which locates over a projection to prevent the sheet from being rewound onto the storage cylinder under the action of a spring (7). One end of the spring is attached to the interior of the storage cylinder whilst the other end is attached to the fixed rotational axis (10) of the cylinder.
