The tile pincers according to the invention, for trimming the edges of tiles, are distinguished by the fact that they have two or more working ranges for the range of movement of the ''parrot-beak'' jaws. For this purpose, the pivot of the two pincer arms has a hub, the cross-section of which corresponds to a circle with two opposite flattened portions. This hub body engages positively in one pincer part and can optionally engage in two or more circular openings on the other pincer part. The circular openings in the second pincer part, of which there are several, are connected via rectangular intermediate openings, the width of which corresponds to the minimum diameter of the pivot hub. The pincers are adjusted by pivoting the two pincer arms by about 90 DEG relative to the use position. In this position, the flattened hub part can be displaced from one opening of the other pincer part into an adjacent opening.
