PURPOSE:To enable a recorder to follow up a phenomenon with high response speed by a method wherein a means which controls the generation of ink drops in proportion to alteration in the volume of a unit at a recording head so as to make roughly constant the density of ink drops forming a recording image despite the alteration in recording speed. CONSTITUTION:When a recording head 1 draws a linear recording image between a point B and a point C after it has moved from the location of a point A to that of the point B, a command signal S3 is set to 0 while it is moving from the point A to the point B, and the transmission of the output signal of a synthesizer 53 from a gate 54 is suppressed. On the other hand, S3 signal is set to 1 while the head is moving from the point B to the point C, and the output signal of the synthesizer 53 is applied to an ink jet pen 11 as a driving signal S4. Since the ink drops are generated according to the signal related to pulse signals S1, S2 for changing the position of the recording head 1 by every volume of the unit specified, the density of ink drops for forming the recording image is made constant despite the alteration in recording speed. Thus the recorder can follow up a phenomenon with high response speed to produce a recording image of good quality. |
