PURPOSE:To construct a huge platform without needing undewater joining work by joining divided bodies manufactured by dividing the platform into plural number under a condition that the divided bodies are floated through the supporting legs of the platform. CONSTITUTION:The divided bodies 9a, 9b of the platform are constructed in a dock, and floated on the surface of the sea 7 of the outside of the dock, wires 17, 18 are laid in crossed shape, the wires 17, 18 are hoisted in the arrow direction by means of winches on the divided bodies 9a, 9b, and the sections on the water of the joining section 12 of the divided bodies 9a, 9b are mutually welded and joined. The legs 2, 2 are dropped up to the bottom of the sea 5 from the divided boides 9a, 9b, the wires 17, 18 are further hoisted, the divided bodies 9a, 9b are lifted to the legs 2, 2 on the surface of the sea, and underwater sections lower than the draft of the divided bodies 9a, 9b are mutually welded and joined. A counterweight 19 is pulled out in the arrow A direction with the reduction of the draft of the divided bodies 9a, 9b at that time. |
