PURPOSE:To melt a soldering material in a short time, and to minimize a variation of structure of a soldering material part, by installing the soldering material between both members to be soldered, rotating them by putting pressure on them, and soldering them by means of friction heat of the rotation. CONSTITUTION:One end of a pipe 1 to be soldered is fitted into a notch part 3 of a plug 2 to which an annular soldering material 5 has been fitted. A relative rotary movement is given around the center axis, putting pressure onto the pipe 1 and the plug 2. Whenever the annular soldering material 5 receives friction heat, it is heated by friction due to a burr 6 on the inside circumferential surface deformed by heating and pressure in the contact part of the pipe 1 and the plug 2, and is melted. The melted annular soldering material 5 is pushed up into a clearance delta and fills it, by capillarity and an extruding effect by the burr 6 formed on the inside circumferential surface of the pipe 1. At this state, when the rotation is stopped, and radiation and cooling are performed, soldering of the pipe 1 and the plug 2 is attained. |
