REPRODUCER FOR DISC SHAPE INFORMATION RECORDING MEDIUM

PURPOSE:To reduce kick noise at high speed retrieval, by generating a plurality of external control signals only at a prescribed range in the vicinity of reproduction of a vertical synchronizing signal from a reproducing signal of a disc medium on which an information signal and a tracking signal are recorded. CONSTITUTION:A disc 1 is loaded on a turn table 2 and turns in a high speed synchronizingly. Video signals and the like by pits 20 are recorded by 4-field at each one revolution on the disc 1 and tracking signals fp1 and fp2 which are lower than the said frequency band and also different are recorded with switching at each one revolution with pits 21 and 22. A signal fp3 is recorded at a switching connection part of the signals fp1 and fp2. A reproducing stylus 5 slides on the surface of the disc 1 for reproduction. The reproduced output is demodulated 7 and tracked via a tracking circuit 9. A plurality of kick pulses are generated 14 only in the vicinity of a vertical synchronizing signal generated from a synchronizing signal generator 10 via an fp3 detector 8 to reduce noise at high speed retrieval.
