PURPOSE:To settle the problem of bottoming, buffer cross-talk etc. by providing actuators having a retractable function on the front side and rear side of a vehicle and enabling each of said actuators to independently carry out a kneeling operation. CONSTITUTION:A partition piston for partitioning the inside of cylindrical body 2 into a gas chamber and an oil chamber is fitted in the cylindrical body 2 inserted into the cylinder 1 of an actuator 10 in a suspension device. An orifice block 26 is fixed to one of the cylindrical body 2 while a free piston 4 is fitted over the outer periphery of the cylindrical body 2, partitioning the inside of the cylinder 1 into a compression oil chamber 7 and an expansion oil chamber 6. Each chamber 7, 6 is connected to an oil pump 40 or a reserve tank 39 via an electromagnetic selector valve 37. In this case, front and rear electromagnetic valves 15F, 15R for kneeling and front and rear right and rear left electromagnetic valves 16F, 16L, 16R for returning operation are provided between the electromagnetic valve 37 and each of the actuators 10. |
