EP--59473 A Jet slits range above and below the drawing section of the spinning or twisting machine, on the mobile unit, to create a horizontal air curtain. A blowing jet delivers a flat air stream approximately at right angles to the horizontal air curtain from the jet slits at about their centre. A row of suction jets lies on each side of the flat air stream. The layout of the mobile cleaning assembly ensures that dust, debris, and other fibre matter is removed directly in a concentrated action by the mobile cleaning unit. - The blowing jet to generate the flat air stream is mounted in an adjustable ball head. The slit jets for the air curtain range from a blowing tube suspended from the cleaning unit travelling over the machine, which also supports a shorter blowing tube for the blowing jet.
