PURPOSE:To enable to decrease a number of times of correction remarkably by a method wherein the correcting amount of the cam is obtained quantitatively from initial opening degrees of a runner vane and a guide vane. CONSTITUTION:An opening degree characteristics of the opening degrees of the runner vane and the guide vane, which are effective for obtaining the highest efficiency of the water wheel, is shown by a curve 21, the configuration of the cam is finished as the curve 25, while the curve 22 may be obtained from the result of a test for the opening degree characteristics. When the thickness of a shim 13 is shown by t, the difference between the curve 23 and the same 22 by t1 and the defference between the curve 22 and the same 21 by T1, it is enough to find out the difference between the curve 25 and the same 24 in order to determine the obtaining configuration of the cam 10 as the curve 24. when the difference therebetweem is denoted by T, it is sufficient enough to correct only the cam by the difference T, and thereby enabling to decrease the number of times of the correction remarkably. |
