PURPOSE:To reducing the size and weight of a transducer by simplifying its constitution by inserting one dielectric substrate, which has a microwave integrated circuit and a prescribed shape, into a rectangular waveguide in parallel to the H surface of the waveguide. CONSTITUTION:At a position which nearly bisects the size L of a rectangular waveguide 10 in the E surface direction, an opening hole 11 in a prescribed shape is made, and a dielectric substrate 12 is inserted into the opening hole 11. On one surface of the substrate 12, a strip conductor 14 having probes 13a and 13b capable of transducing a basic propagation mode electromagnetic field and the propagation mode electromagnetic field of a microstrip is provided, and on the other surface of the substrate 12, a ground conductor 17 is provided convering the substrate in a shape which prevent the side of an input terminal 15 and that of an output terminal 16 from being coupled together directly in propagation mode; and the conductors 14 and 17 form the microstrip 18. |
