PURPOSE:To enable >=3 color recording as well as simplifying a scanning circuit giving charging potentials corresponding to hues in the same polarity. CONSTITUTION:An electrostatic recording paper 6 with an electrostatic latent image formed comes into contact with a magnetic brush 12a and is developed with a black toner. Negative developing bias voltage Va is applied to a sleeve surface, and only the areas of charge potential corresponding to the black color are developed. The toner developed is flash fixed with a xenon lamp 16a, and the paper 6 is developed blue with a second magnetic brush 12b. After flash fixing with a xenon lamp 16b, it is developed red with a third magnetic brush 12c. At last, recording is completed by flash fixing with a xenon lamp 16c. |
