PURPOSE:To prepare a high viscosity fine emulsion continuously by mounting an impeller type stirring blade to the bottom part side of a vertical stirring shaft in a stirring and mixing tank and a spiral stirring blade to the upper part side thereof. CONSTITUTION:In a stirring and mixing tank 3 having stock material supply ports 1a, 1b provided to a bottom part thereof and an emulsion outflow port 4 to a top part thereof, an impeller type stirring blade is provided to the lower part of a vertical stirring shaft 7 provided to the center part of a tank 3 and a spiral stirring blade 6 is provided directly above the same in series so as to be adjacent thereto. In this condition, a high viscosity substance is treated with the lower impeller type stirring blade 5 at first to prepare a coarse emulsion with a large particle size and, directly after this treatment, finely divided gradually by the upper spiral stirring blade 6 to prepare a perfect emulsion. By this method, a fine emulsion is continuously prepared. |
