PURPOSE:To increase adhesive strength and printing durability extremely further by a method wherein a photosensitive polymer with the main chain of the polymer -CH=CH-CO- radical is provided on the base on an iron material coated with a film of chrome series. CONSTITUTION:In a photosensitive lithographic plate comprising a photosensitive polymer having -CH=CH-CO- radical in the main chain of the polymer and a support with a layer composed of iron atoms, chrome atoms, oxygen atoms on an iron or steel material, the percentage of the iron atoms in the layer increases in a part closer to the iron material, while its surface side is composed of chrome and oxidized chrome. Furthermore, diffusion cracks, holes are provided in the layer and crystalline chrome is exposed on its surface. The printing plate thus constructed ensures the increased adhesion strength of an image part, excellent printing durability, image reproducibility and rust proof. |
