A description is given of the brake disc of a disc brake of the type which comprises an annular outer part for braking and an annular inner part for fixing, the brake disc remaining flat even after heavy and prolonged braking. The brake disc in accordance with this invention has an annular central part for connecting the inner part to the outer part and the central part is provided with a multiplicity of elongate holes which are arranged in a circle and are distributed regularly over the circumference in two circles, the elongate holes on these two circles being staggered relative to one another by half the pitch.
