The electronic counter according to the subject matter of the invention is an electronic counting circuit which, in the switched-on state, counts current pulses (voltage pulses). Due to the circumstance that the counting result is indicated as a decimal number, such a counting circuit consists of subsections (decades) which indicate the corresponding digit (decimal digit) for their decimal place. This counter is a binary-decimal counter because its decades count in accordance with the binary weighting system from 1 to 10. To display the result number consisting of decimal digits, a decoding circuit is also additionally required for each decade, which circuits indicate the binary-coded decade storage values as decimal digits. Figure 1 shows one decade of the up counter and Figure 2 shows one decade of the down counter. Each decade consists of four dual flip flops, which are not shown doubled in Figures 1 and 2.
