Bath for handicapped person - has recess in upper part of inside wall to accommodate hand rail

The bath has an upper edge (6) extending part-way around the periphery which has one surface (7) facing inwards to define a recess (10) for a hand rail (11) running along one side of the bath. Another surface (15) of the rim faces outwards and is angled slightly to the vertical. This surface is convex and extends along its upper edge into a convex rim (16). The outer and inner surfaces are of the same height e.g. 15 cm and at mid-height the outer surface is inclined at 5 to 25 degrees to the horizontal.
