PURPOSE:To control charge collecting motions at terminal devices according to contents of services and tariff systems, by delivering charging signals indicating the time of charge collection and the unit charge from the exchange side after they are divided and multiplexed in frequency. CONSTITUTION:When a terminal 21 is hooked off 31, a loop signal is sent to an exchange 1 from a talking circuit 24. When a user inserts a coin or a magnetic card, a charge collection controlling section 36 detects the accumulated amount, and a terminal controlling section 22 controls the calling until the accumulated amount reaches a sufficient amount. When the user confirms the dial tone and performs a dial transmission, an intra-office controlling section 3 controls an exchange connecting section 2 and lets the section 2 make the exchange connection, and, at the same time, refers a charge information generating section 12. When the call is to be charged, the intra-office controlling section 3 delivers a charge signal which indicates the unit charge fixed depending on the service class, areal class and calling time, unit time, etc., to the terminal through an FS signal. |
