<p>The decontaminating shoer is fitted on an elevated platform or structure and comprises a water tank with loose cover. The tank is fitted inside of a larger casing with loose cover. The gap between the two vessels is filled with insulating foam material pref. of polyurethane or mineral wool. The tank assembly is fitted with cold water supply pipe terminating in float valve, overflow pipe, immersion heater controlled by thermostat, and hot water outlet pipe fittings. One fitting connects to valve operated by pull rod by which hot water is supplied to spray head serving for general decontamination of the body and pipe fitting connects to valve operated by another pull rod for decontaminations of the eyes via hose and spray head.</p> |
