PURPOSE:To obtain heads easy to manufacture with a printing of high quality by arranging nozzles in staggered manner in two lines. CONSTITUTION:On the top surface of a base plate 11, a plurality of channel- shaped nozzles 15 are so arranged in parallel as to be vertical to the surface of a paper and a plurality of channel-shaped pressure chambers 16 are formed to be communicated separately thereto. On the bottom surface thereof, likewise, a plurality of channel-shaped nozzles 17 are arranged in parallel and a plurality of channel-shaped pressure chambers 18 are formed to be communicated separately thereto. The nozzles arranged in two lines are staggered. This means that when nozzles 15 and 17 in each line are arranged at a pitch 2p, they are disposed at a pitch p to the paper sent in the direction of the arrow. This allows sufficently large width for a seal section between nozzles thereby facilitating the manufacture thereof. |
