PURPOSE:To obtain a photoreceptor having a photosensitive layer resistant to deterioration and superior in durability, by successively providing a dispersion type photoconductive layer using a thermoplastic acrylic resin as a binder, and a heat-shrinkable insulating layer on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:A powder of a photoconductive such as CdS is dispersed into a solution of a thermoplastic resin as a binder and this liquid is coated on a cylindrical substrate made of aluminum or the like, dried at 80 deg.C, coated with a heat-shrinkable insulating film cylinder made of polyester resin or tetrafluoroethylene or the like, and heat-shrinked at about 120 deg.C to make a photoreceptor. Since said thermoplastic resin is not deteriorated with the heat applied during the heat-shrinking operation of said film, the photoconductive characteristics of the photoconductive layer is affected at all. This photoreceptor is not deteriorated due to humidity, and forming an interlayer of a curable cyclic butadiene rubber between the photoconductive layer and the insulating layer permits a good image to be obtained under further higher humidity environments. This photoreceptor is also superior in durability. |
