PURPOSE:To improve operability and service to customers by registering in dividual commodities by a specific currency unit and by performing cash reception and payment to a customer by a currency unit specified by the customer. CONSTITUTION:A CPU11, when specification keys K1-K5 for various currency units are operated on a keyboard 3, sets specifying flags F1-F5 for various currency units selectively in accordance with the contents of the keying operation. When a commodity price is registered with a register key K6 on the keyboard 3 and the section of the commodity is specified with a section key K8, the CPU11 accumulates the price data in a section totalizer which corresponds to an accumulation memory M1, and also adds it to a customer totalizer. Further, the input price and section code are set in an operator display memory M7 and displayed on a display device 2. An operator checks its contents and, when they are correct, converts them at a conversion rate to set the result in a display memory M8 and also to display it on a display device 5. |
